THE SMART VIEW (TSV) is an independent magazine with focus on mobile photography and art that has been founded back in 2014 by photographer and graphic designer Rosa Roth. TSV aims to support artists all around the world by featuring, exhibiting and publishing their works online and offline. In June 2019 TSV released its first photo zine edition, the TSV_ZINE that showcases thematic photographs collected throughout a monthly open call on Instagram. The zine is released in a limited print-run of 250 numbered copies and plays with visual story-telling by combining works of different artist on a specific theme.
Bio
Rosa Roth, born in 1987, is founder and editor-in-chief of TSV, studied Graphic Design and Photography before she decided to solely run an independent magazine on mobile photography and art. Since 2014 she manages TSV from her small home office in Hamburg, Germany and puts all her passion into editing and supporting young emerging talents she discovers on Instagram. Besides publishing the annual released magazine, she also publishes a monthly photo zine and supports artists with their art book publications
