Queste fanzine sono molto personali; sono parte delle mia storia e dei miei viaggi.

C’è Londra, Berlino ( Alone, desperate, going nowhere Maybe you should go fuck yourself ), città dove ho vissuto anni in cui sono cresciuta, in qualche modo.

L’altra zine, Still Dreaming, è la storia di un amore, o forse più, non corrisposti, impossibilitati per vari fattori. Li ho voluti raccontare e raccontarmi come dei sogni che ho vissuto e continuerò a vivere.

Quello che ho cercato di fare è raccogliere in qualche modo gli ultimi 7 anni della mia vita, dargli una forma, rivedere ciò che ho vissuto. In questi progetti vedo soprattutto un saper vedere lo s speciale nel quotidiano, ciò che c’è di magico, che può essere un viaggio, un amore, la vita stessa.

 

BIO

Silvia Branchesi is an italian visual artist. From 2009 to 2012 she has been involved in various art activities and has organized exhibitions and art festivals to promote the local artists in Italy. In 2012 she moved to London where she started new collaborations with other artists.

Her inspiration comes mainly from the inner self and memories as a reflection to social, and cultural issue that society faces. She often use candid snapshots and employs found objects and photographs. She has taken part in collective exhibitions locally and internationally.

She was also the recent of the University of Macerata award

Her work is in private collections in Germany, London and Italy

She received a Master of Fine Art in Multimedia and visual communication, Macerata, Italy
