L’esercito / The Crowd

Statement:
Subliminal is said of a stimulus or of a mental process that lays below the threshold of sensation or consciousness; that is perceived by or affecting someone’s mind without their being aware of it.

Calle Serrano is the main street of what is considered to be Madrid’s most prosperous neighborhood, Salamanca. By exploring the rear end of Calle Serrano, and by adopting the same point of view on the people living and working in the area, The Crowd aims to portrait a latent sense of depersonalization and detachment, evidence of which is always present in front of everyone’s eyes, but that none of the actors dares to mention.
